  Do you ever wonder that? 

Motherhood is an amazing thing. 

A blessing to have the love of a lifetime. 

(Yes we love are husbands) But this blog isint about them, or him should I say.... 

My son has been my buddy for well he turns 10 on Monday, so for almost 10 years...(smile) 

He brings a smile to my face. 

My grandma is 81 years old and she has said many of times, "Looking back I had 4 kids and worked full time to take care of them. We went on vacation every year.  and had many tears and hurdles but I can honestly say

that was the happiest time of my life."   

So many times I think parents lose track of there kids and what life is about and worry about having a fancy car and big house and work all the time start to fight and argue about money and the best time of your life has just slipped away unnoticed. 

I sat and watched my sons karate practice and this gentleman was walking back and forth and looking at his watch and he made me so nervous...his little boy was kicking and punching in class and would look up at his dad to see if he was looking and watching him...I happened to catch the dad at the right time and he just looked back at his son and pointed to his watch...(as to tell him to hurry)....My thoughts were your gonna be late teeing off..(golf) 

I have only been blessed with one child and I am so thankful to be givin the love and joy that he brings to me.  I don't want to miss a thing.  For it goes by so quickly and soon they will not look back and want to hold your hand anymore.

Great Gob of Chips

I am gonna share my love for potato chips...yep, chips just seem to pull me to them...I think a cold beer and potato chips are my weakness...well I know they are my weakness...How can I resist the salty goodness.


Did you know the inventor of potato chips was George Crum and in 1853 he worked as a chef in a resort in Saratoga Springs, NY. He had a dinner guest that complained about his french fries being to thick, so he decided to rile the guest and make them very thin and crispy and send them back to the guest and the plan backfired. The guest was estatic over the thin brown paper thin potatoes and other guest began to order them. The definition or function is: Snack food made of a thin slice of white potato that has been cooked until crisp and then usually salted. Also known as Saratoga Chips or potato crisps.

MMM....have you ever had Saratoga Chips?...My mouth is watering now..:)

I am a lover of plain old Lays and in the bag of lays there are alot that are folded over and that is the ones I go for first...Not the big ones sliced perfect..

But now I have another weakness Spicy Sweet Chili Doritos ...Oh lord I guess I do not have a favorite..I love them all...Gimmeee,Gimmeee,Gimmeee...Do you notice at any event just about they do have potato chips...yep...very smart of these event planners...

I am in LOVE

Yes it is true, I am in love with this book I got at the library yesterday.

I was on the search for I guess you could say INSPERATION of some sort. Well last night as I opened this book and flipped threw the pages. It just made me Happy!!!

Can a book make you Happy? Well I guess I know now that it sure can. Some of the pictures are amazing and it makes me want to redo my whole house, or better yet maybe go buy a bigger one....(that's not gonna happen) but the thought is for sure there.

I saw these curtains that I am gonna try to make in the next month.

I fell in love yes again "in love" with these as soon as I saw them.

Isint it the coolest for a kitchen???

Simple to make and what a statement.

Just says to custom fit a roman shade to your window and add cute fabric strips down the side.

To do the graphic design on the center of the shade, print out the letters and it says 1 per page and use the font that you want and like. For the silverware pictures

look around at differnt pictures you find untill you find the one you want to work with. (noncopyrighted) then simply enlarge the design on a photocopier and tape the patterns in place under the shade and trace the outline using a black fabric marker and shade as desired....

LOVE IT!!!!!

If anyone has done something like this please share some pictures with me...I would love to see how creative everyone is in decorating there homes.

This is another picture I love...just the bright colors make it so homey...

In the fall I go out and cut twigs down and place them in vases in my home....A very warm touch.

That red pillow with the painted flowers needs to be in my house right now...:) I might have to make that as well. I love the color red in a home. It seems as if you can add a touch of it anywhere and it just pops!!!

Well there are so,so,so many more great pictures in this book and I hope some of you might wanna check it out and see all the greatness inside. It has for sure got my attention and has inspired me to do a couple new projects in the house. I guess when I went looking for insperation all I had to do was find the right book....

Happy Days

On a differnt note my son got his yellow belt in karate this weekend. It was so cool to watch everyone do there thing for there next belt.

So much work...and a job WELL DONE...


I know this is a short and sweet...Just doing a quick update on things I am doing and gotta get to moving my butt...

Speak of moving my butt...I am doing Bootcamp workouts with my husband 2 times a week and it is so much fun...


I also started cardio boxing 3 weeks ago and now found out that they just started Zumba classes at my gym...

So I am doing my first Zumba Class on Thursday night...I am so excited to try it...Looks super fun

Great Day...Now Beer Time

First I wanna say thank you to The Soda Pop Shop....I got my prize I won in the mail yesterday and just cannot wait to start messing with my hair..and I am sure I will be bringing out the hot glue gun and giving away some gifts to my friends...stop on over and check there shop out...

Ok so now on with my day today...My son is in a bowling league and got his trophy today...YAY!!!!



My husband is a golf pro and he has been doing the Remax Long Drive for 4 years now..(maybe 5) and he had his first qualify of the year and made it with a hit of 304 yards...YAY!!! Next stop Chicago in August....Then hopefully move on up to Nevada for the finals again this year...





So the rest of my day today I am having some cold beers and gonna make hats and chill with my men...They are my rock and keep me motivated and happy....

Went to the park today with my son and his friend and we had a picnic and played on the playground awhile then went to feed the ducks some bread. It was so windy out that it made it cold out. A school feild trip musta been going on cuz all of a sudden 3 buses pulled up and tons of kids came walking around in a single file line. It got crowded...





I been making some hats this week and filling a couple orders.

I listed a couple new hats today and hope to have more new ones next week.
