Oh Craft Space How I want you

So I am wanting to redo my work space in the basement and and of course I am
turning to pinterest for ideas and then the tears start (not really) but oh my gosh
some of the places these crafters have to play in takes my breath away!!!

Just look

I love how light and bright and this is...the little curtains reminds me of my
grandmas aprons she wears

The farm fresh feeling I get when I look at this room makes me want to
lay in a field and just dream

I am loving the dark bold color

I think this is my favorite so far...I love greens and and black
yes yes it is calling my name....Lisa...lisa :)

This is to dark for my taste but I would take it lol

goes to show you that you do not need alot of room to make an office space

I sure wish my work space got this much light
since I am in the basement I only have a small window so there is not much
natural light at all...depressing I know (boo)

Do you love the vintage feel of this space I sure do...

ok so can  you just say OH MY GOSH!!!
I mean really this space is huge
I want it...I want it...please can I have it

such a simple and bright space

ok so while I go and dream and write down some of the must haves for my
own space I want to thank Pinterest for being such a time sucker in my life :)
and thank everyone that is a member for posting what they love.

I added my link to Pinterest if you wish to follow me :)

Bathroom Makeover

Wow it has been awhile since I have done a blog update

The holidays have me busy how about you?

Well For the most part my bathroom is finished....we still have a couple
pieces of trim to add but no one can see it unless you sit to pee...ha which means only me

anyways here is some pics for you...when we went to Florida in August
we woke up and walked the beach shore every morning and collected shells.

I then told my son when we get home I will decorate our bathroom in the shells and pictures
so here you go

Wild Berry is the color and it is Behr paint

The frame with all the shells hot glued on was a project we did
a couple months ago I did do a blog on it :) the frame was like $3.99

Nathan bought the sea gull with his money he had to spend on the trip
it has a motion sensor so when  you walk buy you hear waves
and the sea gulls chirping

This shadow box and the white one on the shelf I bought at goodwill for
$2.00 each.

I just hot glued some of the shells we had collected from our walks on the beach..
as you see in this shadow box my son and husband bent over picking up shells :)

I found the shower curtain at goodwill for $4.00 and the 2 small rugs
I got at Bed Bath and Beyond for 5 bucks

I had stickers in my scrapbook supplies I stuck on the wall
They are little sand dollars and a star fish
I then just sat some cool bigger shells we had found on the shelf

All these frames are from Goodwill
just $4.00 for this wall of pictures
I had my husband print the pictures out on paper and I just added them in the frames

Cheap Cheap I am :)

We really love how it turned out and cannot wait to go back next year

wishing you all a Merry Christmas

Work in Progress

Not much of a reader but have seen this picture in alot of places I have been clicking on
since I am in training for a Half Marathon and so I decided to go check it out
at the library...

I got this book this morning and could not put it down from
laughing at the thought of his words because I could totally
vision them to a couple moments of tears I finally had to
take a break because I was hungry and had to pee.

I will be reading more before I go to bed tonight.

This man Dean Karnazes is amazing...
Have you read this book?

ok so that is one of my projects going on right now the other is my
bathroom this is a sneak peek of  the process..

I found this beautiful Behr paint called Mixed Berries

LOVE it

I cannot wait to show you the finished look
stay tuned for more pictures of before and after on my next post...

Another project we got into was putting up the Christmas lights on the outside
of our house and cleaning up the yard some.
All the leaves are about off the trees and well we have no trees in our yard
but a yard full of leaves from everyone Else's.. go figure

I am ready to put my Christmas things up and will be doing that this weekend I think

Oh and also this weekend in our first Family 5k walk/run....Holiday in Lights Yay!!

It is supposed to be beautiful all lite up for the holidays...3.1 miles of beauty

This will be my sons' first one and I'm thinking his last as he wants to do it but
don't want to do it if that makes any sense to you...

Well on my training for my first Half-Marathon I am now up to 8 miles of Hell

October Fun

Hello to you all from all of us

I hope you had a fantastic October it sure went fast
Did you do anything fun?
My October was a Big craft show and some adventures with the family
I love adventure time :)

We went to Wendal Farms like we do every year and did the corn maze

Yay we made it to the finish line and I must say we rock at doing these
Nathan found the exit 2 years in a row and it makes him proud that he rescued us
from staying in the corn till the farmer comes lol ;)

So after the corn maze this farm has lots of fun things to do and see and
so we went to pet the animals and ride the trik trak

A soft touch of the hand and a big smile in the heart as my son pets the animals
How can you not have love in your heart and you pet these beauties

My dream is to have my own billy goat and one of these days I will have
one of these little guys...I just love them

I got hungry

The farmers old house I think it musta been his parents old house
isn't it beautiful...yes I know the windows are all broken and it needs work but this
house is story and I love it...
We pass this house on a tractor ride back to the big pumpkin Fields and
I think it would be a great haunted house

So we got to see what its like to play with udders...lol..very hard
we would have died of thirst

They have a corn bin you get to play in and I think I have done this post before
because we cover Nathan every year and it is taking more and more corn to cover this
tall young man :) I remember our first year he was so tiny...my how time flys

Here is my baby our first year out at Wendal Farms
He was 4 years old what a cutie pie...ok, ok before I get sad onto more
of my October fun  LOL

We took a tractor ride out to the pumpkin patch and I got a quick pic with my son
Yes he is taller than me now and he is only 11 years old

We were eating Carmel candies so our mouths are a little weird

Me and My wonderful husband...What a great man he is
I am very blessed

And he searches for that perfect pumpkin and he has found it

Oh now the fun night of Trick or Treating...Here we are all dressed up

Nathan is a Party Rock dude from the 80's and he rocked
I took a box and made it to look like a ghetto blaster and cut holes in the top
so he can just use it to put all his candy in....It worked out great and
he got all kinds of compliments..

Nathan and my husband all dressed up and ready to go get some treats
And me and my boy
Yes this is me a meat eater...LOL

From my house to yours I hope you had a wonderful October

Now onto November Fun
