A Word of Thanks

I won this beautiful artwork from The Hillbilly Housewife
go visit her Etsy shop and you will need to pick your mouth up off the ground.

What a great talent this artist has.  She is blessed with super creative hands and an imagination we all need.
Her blog is also beautiful and very insperational....

I gave her a Kreativ Blogger award awhile back and she had to tell us  7
things we did not know about her.  Everyone of the 7 stories were just amazing...
but number 7 she wrote this......

"I have done so many things in my life that I've learned from. I've been places that I'll never forget. Things have happened that have molded me, some good, but a whole lot of bad that I keep tucked in the back of my head for only a small handful of people to catch a glimpse of. Frankly, what it all boils down to is my faith. Nothing happens that God doesn't allow to happen. The most important thing I've ever done is to put my faith in Jesus, and really nothing else matters much. It's all neat, or interesting (or maybe not so much); but 100 yrs from now, no one will know who I even am. But, I know where I'll be!"

Beautiful words, written by a beautiful and creative artist.
I hope you all stop over and visit her etsy shop and follow her blog.
She has been growing herbs and her work station is pretty spectacular..as is her life..

I hope your catnip grows my friend...lol

I want to thank you so much for giving me a piece of your artwork to hang in my home.
May your years be blessed...

  1. My friend, what a beautiful feature!! I got tears in my eyes, this was so nice to wake up to. I do have to correct you on one thing though or my son would never forget me, LOL. Seth is my 12 yr old, and any herb postings or herbal blogs are all from him. He is the one pictured holding the Amish herb books. Herbs are his passion and we hope to open his etsy store back up soon. And no...his catnip is still not growing and we don't know why! He's not happy about it.
Once again, thanks, and I can't wait to share this post around!
