Change it up

I don't know about you but I LOVE to decorate my home and paint and change colors with the seasons....I get so much joy out of creating and using my IMAGINATION!!!! And also ideas come from HGTV...and magazines...(love it)
I have lived in my home almost 6 years and it has come a long, long way..some would say it is getting smaller from all the paint layers I add...:0 I just smile...

Some of my kitchen pics I thought I would share with you...as you can see I do have a love for primitive and antiques...My dad passed away 3 years ago and I got the crocks and jugs from him.......I also did a chalkboard paint backsplash and add colorful notes for the holidays and seasons...It is a great fun project that I highly recommend...
We still have lots and lots of unfinished projects..:) Thats what makes it home...We are now on the bathroom...WOW!! check these pics out...
I will keep updating changes I that I make along with pictures of changes I have made throughout my home....I hope you share some of your ideas and challenges and happy times as you love your home and make it your own...

Be Original

I look at all these great crafters and there shops and see amazing items from all over....I sit back and wonder why in the world did I not think of that...(then laugh)

I read a horrible story about an Etsy seller that sold one of her items and the buyer hated it and had nothing nice to say about it. So the seller refunded them there money and the item was then returned....Come to find out that the buyer of that item copied it and started making the same item and selling it in there shop....WOW, is what I thought when I was reading that..Did anyone else read it? Or have you heard horrible stories like this? Please share...

In a world where being orginal and having your own ideas is far and few. Its sad to think that someone would do something so horrible. And I do believe in Karma...do u????

****Take it all in****

Peaceful,Quiet,Calm....Thats what I see as I look out my windows from my warm house...
The birds flying and landing then flying again. The dog across the street is running around and jumping as the owner is outside playing with it. Not many cars driving on the road today. Its Saturday and my son is home with me.

This is such a perfect day to take it all in. All of what? All that we have. Days like this make me think that I need to be more thankful to the master...I look outside and see the beautiful artwork he has created. Then I look inside and see the beautiful artwork he has created. Both master pieces smile back at me in differnt ways...Thank you I whisper to myself as I enjoy the day to take it all in.

A full Bucket

So after crocheting hats since October I got to thinkn I better start a plan for the spring/summer sales...Crochet hats are going to be warm and in all honesty I was wanting something differnt to break up the same routine everyday...I started checking out patterns and differnt kinds of hats and thought I would try my hand at sewing some bucket hats....
I love it...So I am starting a Bucket hat line for my Tolduso shop on Etsy for the spring/summer.... now I hope everyone enjoys a little bucket love and it fills up and over flows the bucket....:) sending smiles to all and hope everyone has many sales...Please check out my new hats added to my shop and prepare for more...

My great Teacher...

Thanks so much for joining me in my blog journey...
What a better way to start it out then to tell you how I got started in crocheting.

My grandma taught me how to crochet when I was 5 or 6 years old...I sat on the living floor with her. And patiently she showed me how to do a single crochet stitch to start out and then we went to double and triple. My first project was a pot holder. And anyone that I gave a Christmas present to that year, got one of my great pot holders.

I crocheted for awhile then lost interest in it and never picked it up for many, many years down the road. The journey of growing up just took me in many differnt directions. The only thing that stayed the same was me still learning new hobbys and lifes lessons from and with my grandma. And still at the age of 34 and my grandma now 81....I am learning from her. Most girls have a special bond with there grandma that cannot be broken. (its a blessing bond to me.)

And now I hope once a month I can write a blog about a lesson taught or a lesson learned from my great teacher I call GRandmA....
