What is Next

What is waiting behind the doors for 2011?

Only time will tell...I know this will be a great year and many steps up and down each month to climb.

A blank canvas just waiting for us to add color

Only pictures left will remind us of certain events and what memories we remember we shall
think of and smile..

For 2010 will be over.
We spent Valentines Day 2010 walking the ocean in Florida...
It was cold but we walked the shore line picking up sea shells and
and had a big ol' Jalapeno cheeseburger at a restaurant that was right on the beach...
It was Nathans first time seeing the ocean...
we went to DISNEY....

We came home and my husband trained and started to get in shape...we then ran
our first 5k together...this was my 3rd 5k...but his first..
A great day for the both of us...for we are learning what being
healthy is all about..

My son turned 10 years old..
And also trained for 2 more belts in karate...
His Grandma and Grandpa Loomis came to watch him on his latest belt testing..
A lot of walks in the park with my son and laughter and as always great conversations..
We also took a trip to St. Louis this year for my husbands Long Drive Competitions..
Visiting the Arch was amazing...a Beautiful creation

There are many more memories and pictures to share
and this blog post could go on and on for
miles..
I hope you take a moment and sit down and talk about the things
you did this year and look at some pictures...

We cannot get this year back or change what it brought us...

Look ahead to 2011 with ambition and smiles and hope
we all have great memories to cherish of the past...

May you all be blessed with a wonderful 2011
From me and my family to yours

****SHOUT OUT to Rebecca s Whims****

I talked to an amazing woman a couple of weeks ago and
I just needed to share a few things about her..

She has the cutest little etsy shop and I hope you take a few minutes and go check it out..

She is  a mother of four.
(ok that is enough said right there...WOW)

She loves to study and right now
is studying psychology and is thinking of going into nursing.

She also has a small child with Cerebral Palsy
and it requires constant care.
so she chooses to be a stay at home mom....
She told me she believes that we have to do the best that
we can with our children Now...
because they will only be 'ours' for a little while.
(I love this statement because it is so true)

She paints does bead work and also crochets.
Add in the sewing and writing and also jewelry making and you just have a busy bee!
BUZZ ....BUZZ....BUZZ

I am proud to know this amazing woman and share her story I
hope you stop over and say hello...Here are her links

Memories on My Tree

Memories that hang on my tree
If you are like me and love to look at your Christmas tree
more than 3 or so weeks out of the year, then you have it up already...

I actually put my tree up 5 days earlier this year...before Thanksgiving even..:)
*Yes I know that is early but I love Christmas and the feeling of it...

I have special Christmas ornaments I hang on my tree...
They were not bought at a store...and I want to share some with you..
*My great-grandmas pin cushion...she lived to be 94 years old

*My grandpas watch...he was 74

*My Daddy's watch...he was 54
*An Eagle from a friend she had hanging on her tree...(you may know her)
Heather at The Pine Cone Tea Cup

*My aunt gave me an angel bell one year and I hang it proudly...
Cancer took her from us...She fought it many years she just turned 50
It says an angel gets its wings every time a bell rings

*My son made this for me in 2007

 *My grandmas dog Pepper..
I had to take her and have her put down this year..
I have her collar hanging as high as she could jump...

I have many, many more from my sons first Christmas to him making something in Kindergarten and all the way up to 5th grade...
I don't look at it as putting my tree up to early..
I look at it as seeing these ornament's come to life again for at least 5 weeks out of the year...
and remembering some of my past with these loved ones on my tree...

This will most likely be the last year my son will believe in Santa...
For he is 10 years old and it is that time...
It is going to break my heart...
For I so love the feeling and surprise and the questions of how Santa got in the house
and how he was so quiet.

Do you have special items you put on your tree?

~I wish everyone a very Merry Christmas~

~or a Happy whatever you celebrate~

~May your Family be Blessed with Love and Health~
