A Collection Of Memories and Beauty

This is how it all started:

Our Family Vacation to Florida and morning walks down the beach

We collected sea shells every morning and evening while we were on vacation

Here is my son and husband searching for some beauties :)

Well I said when we get home we can make a picture frame and glue all our finds onto it and add

our family picture from our trip

and so the crafting begins....I found a frame at Hobby Lobby for $3.99

Then grabbed the bag of shells and there was sand included..heehhehe..

The handy dandy hot glue gun came out to

And then the fun began of playing around with what shells Nathan wanted on the frame

and which ones he didnt really like..

What a great craft project and a memory to cherish forever...

Now here is the finished project

YAY!! I DID IT

This is Me and I ran 6.2 Miles and finished my first

10K Race with a time of 1:05:38

Tyler's Run is the race I ran....This was my very first 5K run 3 years ago

and so this year I made it my first 10K Run....I am so proud of myself

This is my friend Heather you may know her from

The Pine Cone Tea Cup

We ran the race together...This was her first 10K as well

We rocked this race out and yes don't you love my knee socks :)

I wish this picture wasn't so damn blurry but you see its me and I finished strong

I am now going to do a few more races 5 and 10K's then focus on a half marathon

for next year
